In the YIDA exclusive edition, we have enhanced the customization capability of business data storage. You can choose a more autonomous, secure and controllable way to realize the privatized storage of business data.

On-demand activation (application-level):

1. New applications can be enabled:

When creating an application, you can select whether the business data of this application exists in the public cloud (default) or in the dedicated hybrid cloud database warehouse (core important data)

2. Historical applications can be manually enabled:

• The application administrator can select enable in-application settings-basic settings-exclusive configuration in the application background.
• After the application is enabled, historical data and future new data will be stored in the dedicated database (PostgresSQL) and dedicated attachment OSS under platform management.
• The application function is suspended during the upgrade, and the operation is performed during the low peak period of Recommend. The activation process is expected to take 3 to 10 minutes, and cannot be canceled after the upgrade. You can manually stop the upgrade process.

3. Upgrade and terminate operations:

• The change of application basic framework configuration is a time-consuming operation, which takes a certain period of time. If you need to terminate the operation during the process, you can manually stop it. After the upgrade is terminated, the basic configuration items of the application will restore the original configuration and operation mode of the original cloud storage.
• Factors affecting the duration of the upgrade:

• Application data volume (total business instance data and total attachments)
• Uplink and downlink network speed and bandwidth of dedicated storage
• Local dedicated storage performance (database, OSS)
• Is it business peak hours
