1. Introduction
1.1 function introduction
You can query form data across applications by using functions such as component data linkage, associating other form data, and associating form component data filtering/data filling. You must first create a cross-application dataset.
Create path:Application Settings> application data management> dataset> create from cross-application. For more information, see the document:Create datasets from across applications
1.2ExampleScenario
General companies will summarize and apply contract management, project management, financial management, procurement management and so on separately. When purchasing, financial personnel need to associate the purchase demand form and contract approval form, the purchase demand order cannot be associated with the contract order because data cannot be queried across applications. Currently, YIDA provides the ability to obtain and query form data across applications to solve this problem.
1.2.1 create cross-application datasets
First, create two applications: purchase management and contract management. The components in the form can be customized according to their own needs, after the creation is complete, create a cross-application dataset in purchase management, as shown in the following figure:
1.2.2 configure associated form components
The service provider field uses the associated form component. The associated form selects the cross-application dataset created in the preceding steps.

You do not need to manually fill in the product name, product specification, and unit price fields. You can set the associated form component data to fill in, as shown in the following figure:

The service provider field of the product purchase form in the [Purchase Management] application can be directly selected to the service provider contract form data in the [contract management] application.
2. Ability introduction
It is applicable to cross-application query of data from other forms. Only join table data query is supported.
2.1 Support components
Currently, cross-application form data query supports the following components:
- Data Linkage: single-line text, multi-line text, value, date, image upload, attachment, member department, single choice, drop-down single choice, check, drop-down check;
- Associate Other form data: single choice, drop-down single choice, check, drop-down check;
- Display Settings/data filtering/data filling: Associate forms.
2.2 Data Linkage
When a component uses the data linkage function, both the default value and the option type can be used to select forms across applications.
2.3 associate other form data
You can select a form across applications when you associate other form data with single choice, drop-down single choice, check, and drop-down check.
2.4 associated form
The associated form component can select cross-application forms with permissions to filter and fill relevant data.

3. FAQ
3.1 does the free version support cross-application query of form data?
Creating datasets across applications is a paid version. Therefore, the free version YIDA does not support cross-application query of form data.
