2. Function overview

In each release, a new process version is generated. There are a total of three process versions, including design, enabled, and history 」.

  • EnabledThe process cannot be changed any more. You can view the canvas and setter settings. A single operation will not be saved. The enabled version cannot be deleted.
  • In designThe process can enter the design state through "create new version". The Design state can be published and tested. Currently, multiple design States are supported and concurrent design can be performed.
  • HistoryAfter the process is released, the status of the process is changed to history. In the historical state, the process can be released again or simulated.

3. How to use

3.1 Process version switching

You can view all process versions through the drop-down list in the upper-right corner of the designer and click to quickly enter the view.

3.2 Process version management

Go to process version management

Process version managementRecord the current process instance in the form of a list log, including the version number of the process, the remarks of the process (the default is the process version + version number), the process status, creator, creation time, information about the process such as the updater and update time. At the same time, the process logs are classified by version/All. When the process is modified too much, it is convenient for users to classify and view them. 3.3 how to modify process design

To edit and modify a process with the version enabled, you need to create a new process.

4.1 case scenario

When the process is in use, for example, a piece of data in an approval form is not transferred to the approver for approval as expected, the user can view the process design of the version according to the process version number, check whether the above problems are caused by process design.

4.2 Procedure

Step 1: query the version number of the problem process

Go to the details page corresponding to the problem process data and view the corresponding process version number in the upper-right corner 」. (As shown in the following figure)

On the process design page, view the corresponding process configuration according to the process version number on the data details page.

On the process version management page, find the process corresponding to the version number and click View. Note: If there are too many versions of the process, you recommend use the search function in the upper-right corner.

Click View to automatically jump to the process design page of the corresponding version number. You can troubleshoot the process configuration.

Step 3: modify the process

As shown in the preceding figure, the current V1 version of the process is in the "history" state. To modify it, click the "create new process" button in the upper-right corner to operate.
